Detailed description
The two-storey stone house was built at the end of the 19th century, possibly designed by architect Y. O. Dutel. This house belonged to the official G. V. Uvarov. An example of an early 20th century eclectic apartment building, which was stylized as classicism. The most decorated second floor. Before the revolution, this house housed the Ielskaya fashion store and M.I. Korotkov's hosiery workshop, as well as shoe and cosmetics stores. The Korotkovs were supporters of populist ideas and the workshop was established on the basis of the commune.
