S. Baronova 's house
Detailed description
The one-story brick house was built in 1930. The building is known as historical due to the fact that 16-year-old Vitya Cherevichkin lived in it, who was shot by the Nazis in 1941 for aiding the Red Army. The reason was the dovecote, which Vitya did not destroy, contrary to the order of the occupiers. A photo of a young man with a pigeon in his hands appeared at the Nuremberg trials. There is a monument to Vitya Cherevichkin in Rostov. The house in which he lived is marked with a plaque.
