The mansion of P.I. Myatlev
Detailed description
The mansion of P.I. Myatlev in St. Petersburg is a historical building in the style of early classicism, built between 1740 and 1750 by an unknown author. The mansion belongs to the oldest buildings on St. Isaac's Square, as the facade of the mansion has not changed since its construction. It currently houses the St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office. The interior layout of the mansion includes a large lobby on the ground floor with pilasters, colonnades and box arches, three staircases, a large suite on the second floor and rooms with tiled slabs. Although the interior decoration of the early 19th century has not been preserved, some elements can still be seen today, including stone and parquet floors.
