Description

Type: Multi-day activity
* Himalayan mountains — for the first time we hear about them in childhood, in geography lessons. Beautiful, mysterious names — Everest, Annapurna, Machapuchare. Something far away and unattainable by mere mortals, because climbing is the lot of real climbers. Can you really see them just by flying on vacation? You can! To see and fall in love with this amazing country of untouched nature and sincere inhabitants. The country where, according to legend, Gautama Buddha himself was born. It really is a bit magical with its incredible landscapes, ancient temples and mountain villages, otherwise how can we explain that every traveler, having been there once, definitely wants to return again? Do you want to? - meet the dawn above the clouds, at an altitude of 3200 m - Feel the breath of time as you wander through the streets of ancient cities - feel the energy of the big-eyed Buddhist stupas - Hunt a rhinoceros in the jungle, bathe an elephant, and canoe down a river with crocodiles The program includes a visit to the cities of Kathmandu Valley, Chitwan National Park, Pokhara, as well as a simple 5-day trek in the mountains in the Annapurna area.

Bhaktapur Trip
Type of accommodation:Hotel
In the morning we are going to the ancient capital of Nepal, the "city of saints" Bhaktapur. The maze of narrow streets and lack of transportation, ancient houses and elegant pagodas of temples on the palace square give the town an unusual charm, set it to a special rhythm and transport you to the Middle Ages. It's so easy to imagine how Nepalis lived a few hundred years ago! The city with a thousand-year history is famous for its artisans, who have been passing on the secrets of craftsmanship for many generations. Local craftsmen are still able to surprise with the quality of clay products and wood carvings, silver jewelry and pashmina made from the best goat wool. At the same time, they often create their masterpieces right on the street! And on the way back, we will visit the Bodnath Temple Complex, the most impressive symbol of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The 40-meter stupa was built back in the 6th century, and it is surrounded by dozens of Tibetan monasteries of various schools and trends. This complex has a special, bright and warm atmosphere.

Pokhara
Type of accommodation:Hotel
Hurray! Today we are going to one of the most spiritual cities in the world — Pokhara. Just 50 years ago, a city near huge mountains was accidentally discovered by hippies traveling through Asia. Now it is a real paradise for travelers, a vacation spot for trackers and climbers. Pokhara, surrounded by eight-thousand-meter peaks, is comfortably located near the foot of the Annapurna massif on the shores of the large Lake Fewa, which is very cool to take a boat ride at sunset.

day 08
The beginning of the track
Type of accommodation:Hotel
Today we are going to conquer the mountains! But don't worry, in order to complete our 5-day trek in the Himalayas, it's enough to be in good physical shape. There is no need to climb anywhere, basically the path consists of wide stone steps (there will be many of them!), or a forest path. Ordinary city dwellers can handle such a hike, but be prepared for the fact that this is not a walk in the park after all - you will have to walk for 6-8 hours a day. The duration of the trek is only 5 days, but this time is enough to enjoy magnificent views of the highest mountains of the planet — Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machapuchare, to explore their capabilities and see the world with new eyes! We are leaving the city of Pokhara, surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna massif. Transfer to Nayapul 1070 m (about 2 hours drive). And we're starting to get used to hiking! The walk to Ullery (2080 m) takes about 6 hours. We cross the suspension bridge over the waterfall and begin the "ascent of a thousand steps" sung in the reports. In fact, the ascent for Nepal is quite ordinary - 500 meters of climbing high stone steps. But, unaccustomed to it, it will seem like a difficult test. At the end of the endless climb, a long-awaited overnight stay awaits us. We stop in the village of Ulleri, overlooking a deep gorge, with endless rice terraces up to the clouds.

day 09
Continuation of the track
Type of accommodation:Hotel
Crossing to Gorepani, 2860 m. (about 5 hours). The road continues through villages and rhododendron forests. When you walk through such a forest, you get the feeling that you have fallen into a fairy tale, and about to appear from behind a tree, among the dense foliage, elves with golden hair pierced by the rays of the sun.… Gorepani is famous for two things — it offers a snow-covered panorama of the Himalayas, stunning beauty, and delicious apple pies! Or maybe it won't be too cloudy, and right from the windows of our lodge we'll see how the rays of the setting sun will turn Annapurna red.

Gorepani (2,860 m) – Poon Hill (3,193 m) – Tadapani (2,590 m) Get up early and walk to Poon Hill (1 hour) in the dark to meet the most unforgettable sunrise of your life! The first rays of the sun gently illuminate the snow-capped peaks of eight thousand meters, putting golden hats on them. Stunning panorama of the famous peaks of Dhualagiri, Annapurna One, Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Machapuchare! Dozens of fireflies from different lodges will come out with us to the top of Poon Hill, these are the same trekkers as us, rushing to see the magnificent dawn with their own eyes. After meeting the dawn, we will head back to Gorepani. Breakfast, packing, and moving on the route. The trail goes through the jungle, then descending into the gorges murmuring with streams, then climbing the ridges illuminated by the bright sun. After climbing another hundred stone steps, we will find ourselves in the village of Tadapani (2,590 m). This is our shelter for today. Tadapani offers beautiful views of the Annapurna and Machchapuchare Mountains.

Transfer to Ghandrug (1940 m.) 3 hours and then to Saule Bazaar (1175 m.) — about 2 hours After breakfast, we will continue gradually descending into the valley, through the rhododendron and oak forest, and pretty soon we will reach the next point of the route. Ghandruk is the largest and perhaps the most picturesque village in this region of the Himalayas. The Gurungs— a local people, live here. There is a Gurung museum and a small Buddhist temple in Ghandruk. But it's better to stay in another beautiful place for the night, near a mountain river, so we continue on to the village of Saule Bazaar.
