* 09:00 Departure for the tour. Chalk Divas are waiting for us, which is no coincidence that they attract people from different parts of our planet. Everyone chooses these places for different reasons, but it is always primarily a desire to escape from the hustle and bustle of the world and enjoy the incredible beauty of magnificent natural landscapes. We will get acquainted with a unique cave temple complex: the current Orthodox women's monastery (XVII century) in Kostomarovo. During a visit to the Kostomarovsky Spassky Monastery, the landscapes of the surroundings of which in places resemble those of Cappadocia, we will see: Mount Golgotha with a Cross of Worship and a cave temple complex. Late lunch at the cafe. Next, our way lies to the Divnogorye Natural Temple Museum-Reserve. Here we will visit the cave temple of the Sicilian Icon of the Mother of God, the remains of the Mayak medieval fortress and necropolis (IX-X centuries), as well as the natural wonder of the Chalk Divas. From the hill, we will have a breathtaking panorama of the bend of the Don River. Alternative program (an alternative program is possible due to weather conditions, in the spring and autumn period, as well as for technical reasons beyond the control of the company): We will visit the Small Divas, which are located on the territory of the Divnogorsk male Holy Dormition Monastery, and got their name from the Cretaceous remains of divas. The complex of Small Divas includes a cave church and a bypass gallery with two chapels. The complex has been mentioned in documents since 1653, although there are assumptions about its earlier origin: the principle of the structure of the cave temple and graffiti on the walls resemble images in Roman catacombs of the first centuries of Christianity. *For technical reasons, the monastery meal can be replaced with lunch in a cafe. Depending on weather conditions and epidemiological situation, visit two of the three sites: Divnogorsky Monastery, Divnogorye Museum-Reserve, Kostomarovsky Monastery.
