Church in the name of the Holy Martyr Tatiana

The temple was created on the initiative of Vladimir Kalashnikov, rector of Samara Technical University, with the blessing of Archbishop Sergius of Samara and Syzran. The first service was held on Easter Sunday in 2001, and the parishioners were students, teachers, children of teachers, parents of students and Orthodox Christians from neighboring houses. Since its foundation, the church has regularly organized lectures and video lectures for students on various topics related to the Orthodox Church. In 2006-2007, the altar was renovated in the church and large icons were painted for the churches of St. Tatiana and St. Elizabeth (the latter was brought by the rector from Jerusalem).
