* Zelenogradsk is one of the three flagship resorts of the Kaliningrad region. In German times, it was called Kranz, and the flounder was the symbol of its prosperity at all times. On our tour we will visit many interesting sights, as well as take a walk along the Curonian Spit. Waiting for you: • Beaches The first walk along the Zelenogradsk embankment is shocking. The city beach looks so narrow and inhospitable. But we don't jump to conclusions. The central beach was indeed a failure, but one of the best beaches in the Kaliningrad region is located to the east of the central part of the city. Wide, spacious, with fine sand and dunes. • German architecture If you still look for reminders of Konigsberg in Kaliningrad, then entire streets of ancient mansions have been preserved in Zelenogradsk. And since the city is developed in terms of tourism, most of them have been restored. • Cats of Zelenogradsk.If I say that many people love cats, I'm unlikely to discover America. We can see the Murarium Cat Museum with Russia's largest art collection of cats. There are more than 4,500 fluffy and not so fluffy specimens on display. • Water tower The water tower itself is a landmark. There is a viewing platform on the Tower, which can be reached by elevator.In the evenings, themed guided tours are conducted on the observation deck of the Tower. Tourists are seated in armchairs, given tea and told about the history of Konigsberg, Kranz and the entire Kaliningrad region. • The boardwalk The boardwalk in Zelenogradsk, unlike the city beach, is a miracle how good it is. There is a wooden deck and a stainless steel railing along the embankment. Benches and gazebos are installed. One of the most interesting objects is the monument to the grey Baltic seal. • The Curonian Spit. The unique place is recognized by the international community. on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
