* The magnificent Palace of Versailles, built by the equally magnificent sun King Louis XIV, is famous all over the world. The palace was built in the 17th century on the site of a small hunting lodge of the king's father, Louis XIII, where they spent time together as children, having fun hunting and forest walks. Versailles would not have become so luxurious if one careless act of Finance Minister Nicolas Fouquet had not caused Louis XIV incredible envy. This palace was destined to become a symbol of the power of France and its monarchs for a long time, an object of envy and delight for the whole world, a place for making historical decisions, redistricting world borders, wars and reconciliations, rebellions and revolutions, birth and death, gossip and intrigue, secrets and deceptions, meetings and partings, holidays and everyday life. We will visit the state apartments of King Louis XIV, the halls, the bedroom and the most beautiful hall of Versailles – the Mirror Gallery. We will also see the apartments of the three queens with the decor left to us in memory of the famous Queen Marie Antoinette. You will be amazed by the luxury of the palace interiors and the architecture of the palace itself! The tour will continue with a visit to the park of the Palace of Versailles, laid out by the famous court gardener, Andre Lenotre. The duration of the tour with the road to the palace is about 4-6 hours, travel is possible by commuter train. The tour can be extended for the whole day with a visit to the Grand and Petit Trianon Palaces and the Marie Antoinette Farm.
