Gatchina Palace: the last one

Description
Type: Single-day activity
Duration: 5 hours
* Gatchina is our most “forgotten” suburb, although it was this palace that was called the “suburban Hermitage”. The first three halls of the museum were opened to visitors only in 1985, and this luxurious and unusual imperial residence is still in some disfavor with tourists. And absolutely for nothing! The interiors are incredibly beautiful, where there are no tapestries, but tapestries and no desudeport – something delight (at the same time we will learn this word), the affection of the three Russian emperors (Paul I, Nicholas I and Alexander III), joke pavilions and lake labyrinths, swans and corners of the park in the Swiss spirit, as well as a real underground passage Through which Kerensky himself is said to have escaped from the revolutionary sailor Dybenko, and now the chattering nymph Echo lives.
I adore Gatchina, and I can talk for hours about those employees who saved it at the very beginning of the war, and then rebuilt it from ruins and ashes.
