Tretyakov Passage Ensemble
Detailed description
Tretyakov Lane is a shopping mall connecting Kitay-Gorod, Nikolskaya Street and Teatralny Lane. In 1626, the palace of Prince Dolgoruky was located on this territory, which later passed to Prince Ivan Khovansky. In 1718, the opposite manor was bought by Prince Boris Sheremetev, who owned the land opposite. The buildings in Tretyakov Passage were soon occupied by private shops and branches of large companies. This is one of the most expensive places to shop in Moscow.
