* We are going to one of the most beautiful and unusual places in the Leningrad region - the Veps forest. High hills, river valleys with ancient villages along the banks, where an amazing people live - the Veps. How many fairy tales and sayings do they know! How many extraordinary stories have been lost in this land! We will make a great trip to the Veps region to get acquainted with their traditions, cuisine and admire the fantastic natural landscapes, even more delightful in their snow-white decoration!
The program includes: radon springs of the Vvedeno-Oyatsky monastery - "Polenov places" on the Oyat river - Alyokhovshchina (famous pots) - reception at the Merchant Vepsian House - rest in the Vepsian house with a bath on the Oyat River - a great trip through the Vepsian territory with a walk through the Vepsian forest with a leading specialist (Podporozhskaya HPP, sacred stone and the spring, the chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Gomorovichi - ancient houses and ancient Vep villages - Vepsen kond - gates and olud - picturesque views - suspension bridge - ancient Vinitsky churchyard, ascent to elevated points and other beautiful and interesting places).

A trip to the Veps region.
Type of accommodation:Camping
07:45 - 08:00 meeting of the group with the guide at the metro station "Dybenko Street" (Bolshevikov Ave., 21, at the bus stop).
Transfer in a tourist minibus.
Excursion "The Road to Cola. Northern legends". On the way, we will talk about the different tribes who lived here, recall their legends and the true stories of these places. Let's decipher some of the names and find out what lies behind the concise signs of settlements.
A short stop in Syasstroy at the ancient canals, on the Syas River (~ 138 km)
A household stop at the Farmer cafe (~ 50 km). Here you can have a snack and buy farm products.
Transfer to the Vvedeno-Oyatsky monastery (~ 50 km). We will inspect the buildings of the monastery, get acquainted with the unusual story of a boy born in a Veps village. After evaluating the views of the Oyat River, we will make a stop at the Radon springs.
Moving to Podporozhye.
Lunch at the cafe.
A brief introduction to the city. You will stop by the Verkhne-Svirsk hydroelectric power station, which started the local settlement.
A great journey through the Vepsian villages and into the Vepsian forest with a leading specialist. We will drive along the Oyat River, where every turn there are beautiful views, just descended from the paintings of Russian painters. We will walk through the most interesting places and get acquainted with several Vepsian villages. An expert in the history and culture of the Veps region will lead you to remote, inaccessible, but absolutely stunning corners of his land.
* You will see the iconic stone and visit the spring in the ceremonial grove.
* Make a stop at the wooden chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Gomorovichi - a real masterpiece of wooden architecture!
* Visit the Krestny Lake.
* Visit Vepsen cond - a real residential Vepsian hut.
* During the program, treat yourself to fragrant wickets and olud - Vepsian homemade beer!
Move. Accommodation in guest houses.
You will spend this night in a cozy house built by a local craftsman on the Veps hill. (On request, it is possible to settle in a real Veps house with a hundred-year history).

Masterpieces of Prioyatye

Breakfast is for those who wish.
Getting to know the Vinnytsia region. One of the largest original settlements of the Prioyatsky region. You will go out to the suspension bridge, admire the old houses. We will definitely look at the village from the high natural ridge left by the glacier. And visit the ancient Vinnytsia churchyard.
Transfer to the village of Alyokhovshchina. It was most famous for its potters, because their products were used even for the royal palace! An ancient wooden church of the XVIII century, consecrated in honor of Archangel Michael, is preserved here. It is still valid.
Lunch at the cafe of local farmers for those who wish.
Transfer to Tervenichi. It is worth coming here to meet the amazing keeper of an ancient merchant's house, exactly descended from the pages of Veps fairy tales. We are getting acquainted with some of the traditions and arrangements of the Veps house, which is very warm and cozy!
The further journey will take place along the Oyat River, where the artist Polenov lived and worked for a long time. The local nature is recognizable in his numerous paintings painted from nature. We will stop at the place where the central part of the estate was located, and where fragments of the manor park are still preserved.
Departure to St. Petersburg (on the way there is a household stop).
