* This is a trip for those who appreciate comfort and want to spend their time as much as possible. The trip will take place without backpacks and tents, with the exception of one night at Cape Krillon, the southernmost point of Sakhalin Island. We will be accompanied everywhere by local drivers and experienced guides who love and appreciate their region.
The program will take place in the most interesting and significant places of the region. In ten days we will see the shores of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Okhotsk, visit abandoned lighthouses, climb active volcanoes, swim in hot springs, and taste local delicacies. Each place in our program is unique and unlike the previous ones. Ten days of a rich and vibrant program awaits you. Every day is thought out to the smallest detail and filled with impressions.

• Climbing volcanoes will take place along prepared hiking trails and will require physical endurance from you. On the Mendeleev volcano, under the very top, we will relax in wild hot springs overlooking the island of Hokkaido. And in the caldera of Golovnin volcano, if desired, you can swim in the lake.
• we will get to Aniva Lighthouse by motorboat. All necessary equipment will be provided to you at the beginning of the tour
• the trip to Cape Crillon will take two days, with one overnight stay in a tent camp

day 01
The beginning of the adventure

Meeting of the participants at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport. After getting acquainted, we will move to the city and check into a hotel. After a short rest, we will take a walk through the historical part of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. We'll take a chairlift up to the observation deck, which offers a view of the entire city. In the evening we will have dinner at a restaurant, where we will discuss our trip.

day 02
Aniva Lighthouse and Busse Lake

After breakfast, we will go to the Aniva Lighthouse. This is an amazing building by Japanese architects that saved thousands of ships from sinking. Built in 1939 by Japanese engineers, the lighthouse attracts travelers from all over the world. It is located on the cliffs in the southern part of Sakhalin Island, and it can only be reached by water. We will move to the village of Novikovo, where we will transfer to motorboats. The way to the lighthouse goes along the bays and capes of the southern part of Sakhalin Island and takes just over an hour. The lighthouse has been abandoned for a long time, so you can easily disembark and climb to the top.
On the way back we will have lunch on the shore of Lake Busse. Giant oysters, scallops, sea urchins, trepangs, crabs, trumpeters and many other species of marine life live here, in this unique place in every sense. You can collect and taste all this variety of seafood yourself. Lake Busse is especially famous for its giant oysters. The chef will cook for us. We will return to the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk hotel in the evening.

Cape Giant

Cape Velikan is considered one of the most impressive places on the Sakhalin coast. Throughout our journey along the coast, we will constantly encounter grottos, caves, arches and pillars of rocky origin. Bird colonies lurk on many of them. The Cape Giant tour will take the whole day. We will return to the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk hotel in the evening.

day 04
Yuzhno-Kurilsk, Kunashir Island

Today we are going to the mysterious Southern Kuril Islands. After breakfast, transfer to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport. We will fly to Kunashir Island on a small modern aircraft. The airport is located at the foot of the Mendeleev volcano, famous for its gas emissions, which can be seen even on approach to the island. In the evening we will stay at a hotel in the center of Yuzhno-Kurilsk.
After checking in, we will go explore the city. We will have lunch at a local cafe and walk to an abandoned lighthouse, where we will meet the sunset with a view of the Pacific Ocean.

Golovnin Volcano Caldera

After breakfast, we will go to the southernmost volcano of the Kuril Islands - Golovnin volcano. The tour will take you through the caldera of an active volcano. Two lakes have formed on the site of the volcano's crater – Boiling and Hot, the names of which speak for themselves. The water in Lake Boiling is heated by volcanic red-hot gases, and in the places where they exit, the water temperature reaches +95°C. Remnants of the Japanese sulfur industry can still be found on the shores of this lake.
We will climb to the observation deck, from where the entire crater of Golovnin volcano is visible, and on the horizon there will be a view of the northernmost Japanese island of Hokkaido. Those who wish can swim in the Hot Lake in the volcano's caldera. We will have lunch and return to Yuzhno-Kurilsk in the evening.

The Mendeleev Volcano

Today we will go to the fumarole fields of the Mendeleev volcano. After breakfast, we will drive to the foot of the volcano, where the trail starts. The path goes through dense thickets of bamboo as tall as a man and takes about 2 hours. In front of the fumarole field there are small natural baths with thermal water, where we will relax with a view of the Japanese Islands. The fumarole field of the Mendeleev volcano is the largest in the Kuril Islands, with a large number of griffins and sulfur deposits. We will return to Yuzhno-Kurilsk in the evening. Dinner at one of the cafes in the city.

day 07
Cape Columnar

Today we will go to Cape Columnar. The way to the cape goes along the ecological trail of the Stolbovskaya Kuril Reserve. On the trail we will get acquainted with the rare relict plants of the island, see the bear trail and swim in the hot springs. At the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, we will stop at the Blue Rocks (they are also called Monks) and walk along the seashore to our destination. Cape Columnar is composed of solidified basalt formations in the form of five- and hexagonal columns that occur when the lava cools. This phenomenon is called "columnar separation", hence the name of the cape.
After lunch at the seaside, transfer to the airport and fly to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In the evening, we check into a hotel in the city center.

Cape Krillon, day 1

Today we will go to the southernmost point of Sakhalin Island – Cape Krillon. Rare groups of travelers reach this edge of the earth, which Yuri Vizbor sang about in his immortal song. On the way, we will stop in the city of Nevelsk, the closest city to Japan in Russia. We will reach the coast of the Sea of Japan by lunchtime. We will set up a tent camp on the shore near Mount Kovrizhka, a perfect round shape. Those who wish will be able to climb the mountain or participate in cooking fish soup over a campfire. Overnight in a tent camp under the sound of the surf.

Cape Krillon, day 2

After breakfast, we head south. Not far from our camp there is a Cordon base, near which herds of semi-wild horses graze, and at the base itself you can feed a tame bear. We will stop at Cape Kuznetsova, where there is an abandoned Japanese lighthouse. By lunchtime, we will arrive at Cape Krillon, where we can "leave the pebbles from the steep bank." Let's look at an active lighthouse at the end of the 19th century, military fortifications from the Second World War and military equipment. We will return to the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk hotel in the evening.
