* We invite you to visit the capital of the Don Cossacks – the city of Novocherkassk. The trip program includes two of the most important sites: the "Second Sun of the Don" - the Voznesensky Military Cossack Cathedral and the Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI). In a few hours we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the city, which for more than a century remained the city of the Don elite – Don chieftains and officers. We will learn the history of the Cossacks from the mouth of a hereditary Cossack and get acquainted with the oldest higher educational institution in the South of Russia. South Russian State Polytechnic University impresses with its majestic architectural complex and rich history. We will walk around the student campus, visit the ancient auditorium where V. Mayakovsky read poetry, and see the unique exposition of the Museum of Minerals. In the second part of our trip, we will visit the main temple of the Don Cossacks, climb the choirs and the bell tower, from where we will have a panoramic view of the "little Paris".
