Description

Type: Multi-day activity
* Sparkling with crystals of ice and snow, Belukha Mountain Peak (4,506 m) is the highest point of Siberia, a shrine of the Altai Mountains. Its beauty, mystery and inaccessibility attract travelers and climbers with extraordinary force. Attention! Due to the fact that the Belukha Ascent route takes place in a 5-km strip of terrain to the state border, tourists are required to have a border pass, which is issued at the Border Department. Tourists must send their full details 25 days (for Russian citizens) and 45 days (for foreign citizens) before the start of the tour. Belukha ascent is a 3A difficulty category route. Good physical fitness and a medical certificate confirming that the participant is healthy are required. Experience of climbing or mountain hiking is desirable. Weather conditions in the mountains change quite often. The maximum height difference in the crossings is about 1,000 m per day. During the hike, participants carry their personal belongings on their own, as well as food and public equipment - tents and ropes distributed by the guide among the participants, taking into account individual characteristics.

On the 2nd day of the program, the group comes to the Ak-kem mountain shelter. The mountain shelter is located near Lake Ak-kem. There is a rental of personal climbing equipment. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable and changeable, which is typical of Altai Mountains. in order to climb to the top of Belukha, you need to have good physical fitness, endurance, strength in your arms and legs. It is necessary to have an idea of what mountains are, the height difference per day up to 1,000-1,500 m vertically, and how one breathes at altitude.

It is very important to inform the guide about your chronic illnesses and injuries before hiking.

If the weather is good, the climbing program is often performed without using a reserve day, as a result, the group completes the entire program 1 day earlier. In this case, the group, having gone down to Tungur one day earlier, stays at the campsite in tents, having breakfast and dinner in a cafe and receiving a lunch package at lunch.

it is necessary to prepare personal equipment very carefully: warm clothes, special climbing boots made of plastic or rigid trekking boots with edging for attaching cats, etc. Equipment

The route offers a standard set of climbing products.
