Apartment house of K. Tikijiev
Detailed description
The house was built in the 10s of the XX century, and since 1913 it belonged to the trading company of industrialist S.I. Koshkin, but after the revolution the building was nationalized. The K. Tikidzhiev Apartment Building is a typical example of the neoclassical trend. The building is a four-story brick house with a basement, has an L-shaped shape, and its roof slopes symbolize the smoothness of lines that distinguishes Art Nouveau. The facade is also richly decorated with brick forms. Two balcony railings on the southern facade of the house have now been lost, as well as some window sashes have been replaced. The K. Tikidzhiev Apartment Building is recognized as an architectural monument of regional significance.
