Residential house of I.E. Saltykov with chambers of the XVII century
Detailed description
There is a former merchant's mansion in Moscow, built in 1878 by architect Konstantin Viktorovich Tersky. The facade of the building is decorated with stucco decoration and masks of lion heads and buffoons. One of the former owners was Ilya Saltykov, the brother of M.E. Saltykov-Shchedrin, who often stayed here during trips to Moscow.
