Turgenev — Botkin Estate
Detailed description
The Botkin House Estate is a cultural center of Moscow, built in the 17th century. There used to be a literary salon here, where celebrities such as Tolstoy and Gogol met. In 1907, the estate was bought by the Moscow mayor Nikolai Guchkov, and a few years later it was nationalized. Currently, the ROSIZO Museum and Exhibition Center is located in the building.
