Ruins of the house wall

At the end of the 18th century, the site on which houses 13 and 15 on Maroseika are located, and a house with a wooden extension belonged to a merchant of Persian origin, Lazar Lazarev. Since then, the house on Maroseika has changed owners several times, underwent repairs and extensions, and in the late 1990s the old wooden part of the house collapsed, leaving only the front wall with a late 19th-century door frame in a brick extension. The specialists reinforced the brick walls, removed the cement, restored the wooden panels and preserved the original plaster of the 19th century and the decoration of the basement.
