Residential house of the Ivanovs
Detailed description
The Ivanovs' apartment building was built in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The facades are decorated with stylized plastered decor, typical of the neoclassical trend of Art Nouveau. Against the background of the asymmetrical decor stands out the double-paned window openings and a cornice made of carved stone. In the walls of the other two windows there are blades carrying an entablature with ornamental inserts. The dapper frieze is decorated with a pattern and garlands. The architectural and artistic appearance of the facade is complemented by a geometric composition of a woman's head on all window niches. The building is rectangular in plan, one-story with a basement and a four-pitched attic roof. It is currently an architectural monument.
