A.S. Popov, Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region

The monument to A. S. Popov is located in a park named after this famous Russian physicist. The idea of erecting a monument to Alexander Stepanovich Popov first appeared in the 1950s. However, its implementation began only a quarter of a century later, and the initiator of the installation of the monument was the head of the Sverdlovsk Radio Center, A.S. Menshin, who headed it in the last century.
