Makarovsky Bridge

Until 1918, the bridge was called "Krivtsovsky" - it is a crossing over the Iset River. It is considered the longest bridge in Yekaterinburg (255 meters), the width of the bridge is 25 meters. The bridge was originally made of wood (built in 1881) and was completely rebuilt into reinforced concrete in 1959. The bridge is constantly maintained in good condition, it is periodically repaired and monitored for wear. Trams and other public transport run along the bridge. The bridge structure is nine-span (arched and girder part), the width of the roadway is 9.3 meters. There is a bike path and a sidewalk for pedestrians. The railings are metal with an uncomplicated pattern.
