The Museum of Mr. Che (khova) was opened in 2010 to mark the 150th anniversary of Anton Chekhov. The exhibition presents unique evidence of his stay in the Urals. The writer stopped in Yekaterinburg in April 1890 on his way to Sakhalin Island. The museum features photographs, letters, documents, personal items and other items related to the life and work of Anton Chekhov. The museum also features exhibits dedicated to the life and work of other famous Russian writers. The museum offers visitors various types of programs, including lectures, exhibitions, workshops, and more.
