Alexander Noble Institute
Detailed description
In 1837, thanks to the efforts of State Councilor Nikolai Vasilyevich Sheremetev, a Noble boarding school was opened, where noble children could receive education. It was financed by the per capita tax paid by the landlords for their serfs. Later, the boarding house was renamed the Alexander Noble Institute, in honor of Tsarevich Alexander. There is currently a library in the building.
