Solodovnikov 's Almshouse

In the summer of 1888, a hospital with 50 beds was built. Due to some difficulties, it was opened on April 14, 1891. It was equipped with the latest technology. State Councilor Alexei Vasilyevich Dobrov became the chief physician. Back then, the treatment was absolutely free. In fact, the hospital has become a lifesaving refuge for patients with chronic and terminal diseases. In Soviet times, the building became the property of the Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery, and a laboratory was located in it. Actually, it is included in this complex to this day.
