Detailed description

The temple dates back to 1633. Initially, a wooden church was built on the site of the temple. The construction of the stone temple, which has survived to this day, was completed in July 1722. The temple was consecrated in the same month. In 1800, the church was closed and it fell into complete disrepair. In the middle of the 19th century, the manufacturer Molchanov renovated the temple, the refectory was expanded and the upper tier of the bell tower was erected. In December 1918, the church was given to the faithful for free use. The temple is built of stone, plastered. It consists of an octagon-type temple, a refectory and a bell tower. The facades of the temple are complemented by plaster architraves and exterior wall paintings. Several old icons have been preserved in the church: the image of the Virgin Mary "Assuage my Sorrows" from the early 18th century and the Kazan image of the "Position of the Honest Robe of the Mother of God" from the 19th century.
