The building of the office of the Board of the I.G. Kozhevnikov cloth factory
Detailed description
At the end of the XV century, the merchant I. Mr. Kozhevnikov built a cloth factory on the estate. In his project, fortress architect Timofey Grigorievich Prostakov combined the manor and factory complexes into a single ensemble. Shortly after the construction of the factory, I. P. Kozhevnikov went bankrupt, and the new owner, the Tiflis merchant B. K. Khalatov, rebuilt several buildings and an office building. The office building was built on the second floor and was used as an apartment building. During the repair and restoration work, specialists recreated a three-tiered tower with a spire based on preserved elements and archival data.
