Relics of St. Daniel of Moscow
Detailed description
The relics of St. Daniel of Moscow are located in the Danilov Monastery. They were brought here in 1652, and have been kept here ever since. In 1932, the cathedral was closed, and the relics of St. Daniel disappeared. At the moment, there are several parts of the relics of Daniel of Moscow. They were placed in a coffin-shaped ark made of metal. A prayer service is held every morning in front of the relics.
