Nagornaya Tower
Detailed description
The upland tower of Danilov Val was built during the 17th century. Initially, the tower was angular, but in the second half of the 19th century, the monastery territory was expanded. Two new towers appeared here, which became angular, and the Nagornaya tower from that moment became the northernmost tower of the monastery. Due to its remoteness, the tower suffered less damage than all other buildings during the fire of 1912.
