The house belonged to a large landlord K. I. Grigoriev. Year of construction:1880. The building is known for the fact that Ilya Repin lived and worked in it from 1882 to 1895, and the artist's studio was located here. Historians mention the fact that the building was rebuilt at the request of the artist. Repin asked the landlord to add an attic to the building for his workshop. This request was fulfilled.
