Admiralty Hospital of Emperor Peter the Great
Detailed description
The Admiralty Hospital of Emperor Peter the Great was once the home of Princess Shakhovskaya. In 1769-1772, a separate church was created for the sick. In 1836-1838, Carbonnier, a military engineer, converted the building to the needs of the hospital, and in 1880, the naval barracks located next door were transferred to the ownership of the hospital. The building is more than 300 years old and, as before, highly professional specialists work within its walls.
