Mosaic panel Revolution
Detailed description
The building of the Trade Union House is decorated with mosaics created in 1968-1969 by a group of artists led by V.D.Gerasimov. The mosaic is called "Revolution" and is dedicated to the revolutionary events and the first years of Soviet power. Not so long ago, she was in danger of being lost. Samara architects drew attention to its deplorable condition. This happened because there was a club in the building, and the vibrations from the sign and loud music gradually destroyed the panel. Therefore, at the beginning of 2022, the mosaic panel was entered into the Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Historical and Cultural Peoples of the Russian Federation as an object of cultural heritage of regional significance. Currently, it is prohibited to install air conditioners and awnings on the building, to place pavilions and kiosks next to the building, to carry out land management, excavation, construction, economic and other works not related to the preservation of the facility.
