Management of the Kuibyshev Railway
Detailed description
The facade of the Kuibyshev Railway Administration building is made of yellowish-brown bricks, the windows are decorated with architraves and capitals. There is a terrace in the central part of the building, which stands out for its shape and decoration. Initially, two fountains were installed on the terrace, which unfortunately have not survived to this day. The interior of the building was also designed in the style of "modernized classicism". The interior is decorated with plastic and carved decorative elements made of wood. In the lobby on the ground floor there is a marble column, on which there is a statue of a railway worker with a book background symbolizing knowledge. There is also a living room on the ground floor, which houses modern furniture and equipment. There is a library on the second floor, and an auditorium and a conference room on the third floor. The building of the Kuibyshev Railway Administration was recognized as an architectural monument and entered into the State Register of Cultural Values of Russia. Today, the office of the West Siberian Railway is located here.
