The complex of buildings of fire and police units in 1914
Detailed description
The building complex of the Samara Fire and Police Station was built in 1914.
The front facade of the three-storey building has a U-shape and repeats the red line of buildings on Chernorechenskaya Street. The walls are made of ceramic brick and stone, made of artificial stone. Currently, the main facade is made in the "brick style", which was traditionally used in industrial buildings of that time. It was these blades, window frames with cornices, and round towers that gave the building a harsh medieval romanticism. The main northwest facade has a frontal composition of three parts: the central part of the first stage is pierced by six wide arches for the passage of vehicles; the first floor is divided into two parts, with the second in the center. Six arched columns and buttresses complete the facade's composition. The place on the attic on the left has a small rectangular depression with the date of construction of the building, on the right – the coat of arms of the city. The central part of the entire central part of the attic is raised on two sides, flanked on both sides by the mainland.
