Detailed description
On March 19, 82, a section of the history of the tram and trolleybus industry was opened, which has since turned into a full-fledged city museum dedicated to the history of land-based electric transport. Now the museum is located on the territory of the City tram depot on the second floor of the car repair shops. In this museum, you can find out who designed Russia's first tram, how Samara residents traveled on trams in the 19th and 20th centuries, which specialists developed tram and trolleybus projects, and how they influenced two centuries of electric transport. The gradual development of public transport is clearly presented. There are many models of trams and trolleybuses, a huge number and variety of photos, including rare ones. Most of the exhibits, of course, are related to transport, but some of them belong to the Soviet era.
