E. Sagirov 's apartment house
Detailed description
The building was designed by architect N. N. Durbach. N. S. Sagirov, a baker, lived in the mansion. In the early 1910s, businessman B. A. Kamerstein rented the mansion. He opened a cinema in it,
which changed several names. After the war, the mansion lost the entrance hall and part of the stucco decoration on the porch. When the cinema equipment was changed, the layout was changed and a new entrance was added. In 1999, under the direction of architect G. Shevchenko, it was renovated for the anniversary of the city. The design of the Sagirov House combines elements of classicism and Baroque.
