Olenin Manor
Detailed description
The Olenin Estate is a rare example of an urban noble estate. Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin often visited this wooden house, built at the beginning of the 19th century. His museum is now operating here. The manor house stands on the left bank of the Tvertsa River. The estate was built at the end of the 19th century and consists of several buildings located on a well-maintained territory. It was built in the neoclassical style, with elements of Baroque and Renaissance. The original interior elements have been preserved inside the house.
Guided tours, workshops and other events dedicated to the culture and history of the region are organized here. The house is a historical and cultural monument of regional importance.
