The house of the architect Belokon
Detailed description
The apartment building was built in 1988 at the intersection of Osipenko Street and Lenin Avenue, designed by Soviet architect Alexander Belokon. The building consists of 20 floors, designed in the style of late neo-brutalism, with balconies arranged in a checkerboard pattern. The house is made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Locals call the building a rasp.
