Detailed description

The building was built in the 18th century in the historicism style. It is a palace with a main entrance, on both sides of which there are wings of wings. It has round windows and a colonnade at the main entrance. The post office began its work in the 83rd year of the eighteenth century. The building was rebuilt several times, as it did not meet the requirements of the post office. At the beginning of the 20th century, outbuildings would have been built. In the 10th year of the twentieth century, the construction of a new post office began. The facade of the building was made more concise, and the central entrance was decorated in Romanesque style. The grand opening took place in 1912. The Post Office has been hosting the Museum of Postal Communications and the Moscow Post Office for over 170 years.
