* Ukok plateau is one of the most inaccessible and interesting places in Altai, which can be reached by a prepared car. It is hidden behind large passes, numerous fords and difficult roads. There are no hotels, communications, or mass tourism here. This is a territory of greatness and silence among mountains, rivers and lakes, where you can take endless photos or just enjoy nature. Mid-July is the most comfortable time to visit the Ukok Rest Zone Nature Park. Nature is in its prime, temperatures are comfortable, and all directions are open. To immerse yourself in the atmosphere of travel, we will organize a full-fledged expedition, where all household issues are resolved: a sauna, electricity, a full kitchen, a toilet, and even sup-boards for walking along rivers and lakes. The main impressions of the tour: • Visit the Golden Mountains of Altai region • Climb the Baybak and Teply Klyuch passes 2900m. • We will climb to the "Ukok Roof" with views of the entire Plateau, Belukha, other peaks of Altai and a hundred km. around • Take a walk on sup boards on lakes and rivers • Take a look at the place where the Ukoka Princess was found • We'll steam in the sauna right there, by the lakes with views of the glaciers • Enjoy pizza, which we will cook ourselves in a wood-burning oven • We will arrange a lot of photo shoots with beautiful views The Ukok Plateau is a border area where the borders of four states meet at once: Russia, Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan. To visit, it is required to issue passes for access to the five-kilometer zone. The official registration can take up to 1 month. In practice, it happened that we received passes for a week, but we shouldn't count on it. We apply for a collective pass in advance, so you need to book the tour at least a month in advance.
