Theptidaram Temple
Detailed description
Originally called Wat Ban Phraakrai Suanluang, this temple was built between 1836 and 1839 by order of King Rama III as a gift to His Royal Highness Prince Apsornsudathep. Its architecture is characteristic of that period, especially the dedication hall, with its pronounced Chinese features, such as the pediment decorated with glazed ceramics. Inside there are several impressive frescoes and the main image of the Buddha in the temple.
