Apartment house and factory of A.I. Nissen

The complex of houses of the A. I. Nissen apartment building and factory is one of the first brick buildings in the city of St. Petersburg. The apartment buildings overlook the Fontanka River, and the factory is located on Labutina Street, away from the house. The facade of the building is decorated with yellowish English brick and a number of dark brown glazed tiles. In the wing connecting the factory to the apartment building, insulation was made using a mixture of broken glass and lime mortar.
