The ecological exposition includes the Manchurian walnut, which has occupied an important place in the flora of the Far East. The Manchurian plant species grows in the forests of Primorye, Khabarovsk, Amur Region and northeastern China, as well as in river valleys on fertile soils in the highlands, rarely forming well-organized plantations. A large deciduous tree, up to 25 meters tall, with a vertical trunk covered with dark gray, sometimes almost black bark. The branches are gray and smooth, the young shoots are covered with soft hairs and have a yellow-green color. Large leaves spread out, forming an open canopy. When rubbed, the leaves have a strong, characteristic aroma.
