Merchant Igumnov 's House
Detailed description
The house was built in 1895 by an unknown Yaroslavl architect. Nikolai Igumnov inherited the land in this place and that's why he decided to build a house here, so as not to forget about his roots. The facade of the building looks like a boyar's tower, there is painting on the reports, white stone, metal forging, the walls are lined with red brick, and mosaics can also be seen. Since 1979, the French diplomatic mission in Russia has been located in the building.
