Arch of the main entrance

The landmark of the Central Park of Culture and Recreation of Moscow, eighteen meters high, is the main entrance to Gorky Park. But this is not just a monumental structure built in 1955 for the tenth anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, on the roof of the arch there is an observation deck with a view of the city center with its buildings and natural colors that change their color depending on the season and weather. In addition to the observation deck, the arch has a souvenir shop and a museum about the history of the park, located in the left pylon and entablature. The elevator and ticket office are on the ground floor, but you can also use the stairs.
