The building of the public toilet of the 1930s, architect A.V. Vlasov
Detailed description
There is a small classical-style pavilion with fluted columns and capitals, reminiscent of the Corinthian Order, on Pushkinskaya Embankment of the Gorky Central Park. This decision was relevant and consistent with the canons of the Stalinist style. The public toilet building was designed by architect A.V. Vlasov. It was built in the mid-thirties of the last century. In the forties, the embankment was reconstructed and the building fit very well into the surrounding landscape. At the beginning of the new millennium, it was restored.
