Golitsyn Hospital
Detailed description
The Golitsyn Hospital was built according to the design of architect Matvey Fedorovich Kazakov at the expense and according to the will of Prince Golitsyn. The hospital was opened on July 22, 1802 for patients from the poorest segments of the population. The hospital is a three-storey building with two-storey side wings. The elongated main building is crowned with a dome. A clock was installed above the central entrance to the hospital, instead of which the coat of arms of the USSR could be seen for a long time. The clock is back in place now. Golitsyn Hospital is a part of the City Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after N. I. Pirogov.
