Detailed description
The building is a museum complex, the expositions of which are devoted to the history of local lore and the development of metallurgy in the Urals. The museum is located in the Sverdlovsk region in the city of Revda. There are 9 permanent exhibitions in the building of the Revdensky Museum, they were created in honor of the famous Gorgozavod dynasty of the Demidovs. The museum consists of a modern five-storey glass and concrete building with a rectangular tower built over the main entrance, as well as an adjacent area surrounded by a high fence, where some of the museum's exhibits are located. And on the fifth floor of the museum there is an observation deck, which is covered with a glass roof. There is a view of the old part of the city. The museum tells the story of the Demidovs, the city of Revda, presents antiques and photographs. The idea of creating such a museum complex belongs to the local historian Galina Nikolaevna Chukhlantseva, who expressed it in 1996.
