Detailed description

Vitebsk Railway Station is the oldest railway station in St. Petersburg and Russia. The building was opened in 1837, originally it was called St. Petersburg-Vitebsk. In 1904, the station was renamed St. Petersburg-Passenger-Vitebsk. The station is protected by the state and is an object of cultural heritage. It is served by long-distance and suburban trains, as well as trains from other countries. Often the station building can be seen in films and TV series.
