The Imperial Pavilion of the Vitebsk Railway Station
Detailed description
The Imperial Pavilion at Vitebsk Railway Station was built in 1900-1901. The designer was Stanislav Antonovich Brzozovsky.
The lower part of the wall and the ramp were made of pink granite.
The facade of the pavilion was decorated in the "Greek" style, and the interior was decorated in the "Art Nouveau" style. The building housed the Imperial meeting rooms, apartments and staff rooms.
A wide wooden staircase from the lobby led down to the platform. The platform was separated from the rest of the station by a stone wall. Part of the track and the platform were covered with a canopy.
