Trading house of Polushkin and Ershov

At the intersection of two central streets in Nizhny Novgorod stands a unique house from the early 20th century. This is a former apartment building of the Polushkina K.P. and Yershova N.M. partnership. The house is made in the wooden Art Nouveau style. The building was decorated with wooden ornaments, but today the ornament has not been preserved. Above the roof tent there was previously a metal openwork ridge, which is also lost. The drawing under the triangular pediment of the tent in the form of wooden rings has been partially preserved. The main staircase is decorated with chiseled figured balusters. The building's areas were previously used for shops.
